A great American breakfast, even better than any breakfast I've had in the US! The freshest ingredients are the key to the excellent taste. The portions are too large, but my husband was happy to finish my dishes. He loves the omelet, as he should, filled with the generous portions of ham, cheese and mushrooms. The pancakes and french toast are as tasty as they are beautiful, covered with delicious fruit that you only get in Italy! My favorite is the Mixed Fruit Yogurt Bowl with huge portions of fruit, nuts and yogurt along with homemade granola!! I hope your visit in Lucca gives you time to try them all!!!
At lunch, look forward to the best salads you may ever eat! Also wonderful sandwiches and a cheese tray that you will order at every visit!!
We even returned in the early evenings for aperitvo! My favorite was the St Germain Spritz!! Delightful!!!
This cafe was a trip highlight—YOU MUST GO!! We had the traditional breakfast, pancakes with fruit, blueberry smoothie, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and cappuccino. Everything was superb, with exceptional freshness and quality. We loved every bite and couldn’t recommend it more. Also, the pricing was fair for the quality, and the service was great.
My husband and I went to this beautiful cafe right in the town center to have a break after a long walk. The cafe itself is very nice with plenty of indoors and outdoor space to sit down. We had drinks and a light lunch followed by their delicious deserts. We had a chat with the two ladies who served us, about some recommendations of other places. They were very helpful and honest in sharing their local knowledge. The owner came later and he also made sure we were best served and satisfied. I would recommend this cafe with no hesitation to everyone. Thank you!
The location is perfect to enjoy a nice brunch! The staff was very nice and gave me recommendations. Best cappuccino and pastries in Lucca! During my visit to Italy i made it a point to come back
This place was amazing!!! I went with 3 other people. We all were very satisfied with the service and the food. We got the Tortellini Ragu, and Ravioli with spinach and ricotta(my favorite ever), and 2 meat trays, and a basket of bread. I do not like meat sauce or any tomato sauce really and I even ate some of the tortellini ragu and was amazed by how much I enjoyed it.
I ordered the salmon avocado bruschetta. It was delicious. The coffee was great too. We also had the yoghurt bowl to share with gluten free granola. They don’t have gluten free bread but they allowed us to use our own! Very accommodating
We stayed in Lucca two nights and both mornings we came for breakfast at Manon Lescaut as it was so good!! The food and coffee were delicious and the service was exceptional. The little square is also a lovely place to sit. We would highly recommend.
